Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Art supplies can be expensive, but they are really important for our students development of imagination, creativity and problem solving skills. Basic supplies would be a great help in our art classroom.

My school is full of bright, enthusiastic learners but is lacking the budgetary requirements for supplies that will fully engage my students.

I want to provide an art curriculum that is not hindered by a lack of supplies. My students come from low income homes that cannot provide materials for their students.

My Project

We need class-sized amounts of the following supplies- Scissors, Gel glue-sticks, tagboard, Pencils, Markers. We could use 2 rolls of black bulletin board paper for displaying the bright, bold, creative artworks that will be produced by the students.

My students would really get a confidence boost and feel that they ARE important and will gain an appreciation for the arts through creative problem-solving.

It will have a lasting effect on my students and help improve their outlook on learning. My students will also reinforce learning from other subject areas through art projects.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
