Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Young boys love to pretend and use their imagination as much as girls do. In my classroom I have a Dora dollhouse and kitchen area. The boys love playing in each center as much as the girls do. I would love to add a firehouse doll house to my centers. I can hear the sirens now.

Each year I teach about 18-20 of the best kindergrtners in North Texas.

Our school is considered low-income but our accomplishments are great! The demands of kindergarten have increased over the past few years and the need for socialization is more important than ever.

My Project

Because my kindergrtners work so hard throughout the day, it is a real treat whenever they get to play in Centers. Centers are a reward for working hard and completing their daily work. I would love to add a Firehouse Doll House to my centers selection. The boys and girls would enjoy it equally. This firehouse comes with 4 fireman, a truck with ladder, furniture and equipment. I am also asking for a set of 7 books about the adventures of Miss Bindergarten, a kindergarten teacher, including a matching Miss Bindergarten doll.

Books for any classroom is a must.

The Miss Bindergarten series would be a great addition to our reading area. Center Time teaches socialization skills to 5 and 6 year olds. It is also a reward for working hard all day. Center time equipment is required for all kindergarten classes. These item are not often replaced or updated. Most of my Centers are old, worn, and used. I would love to provide my students with a shiny new center to play in. Thank you for supporting my classroom
