Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

How can we motivate our students to read? I believe by creating an area where they will be comfortable and have plenty of books to choose from.

I am a bilingual kinder teacher.

We are a Title 1 school, where 80% of our students qualify for a free or reduced lunch and have never attended school before. Most of them do not have books of their own. For some of my students school is their safe haven. My students are always eager to learn.

My Project

I am requesting these books to be able to create a classroom library for all of my students to benefit from. These books will be a great asset to our classroom. I know my students would love to go to the library center and they will be motivated to learn how to read.

With your help, I am hoping to broaden our classroom library by adding these wonderful books.

We want to create LIFE LONG LEARNERS, but to do so we need BOOKS!!! We thank you for your help
