My Students

How do I get my "techno-kiddos" interested in everyday or routine activities? The answer is simple: technology!

Teaching fourth grade students to love Reading, Math, even Geography is a difficult task!

Our school has opened recently in Louisiana, and we are still growing. As a result, we continue to gather materials and supplies so ALL of our students can learn.

My Project

I need a netbook to use in literary centers. Students will complete daily learning tasks using the Internet. They will practice Math facts on their individual level. Students may also complete comprehension test over books they chose based on their individualized reading level. Students will "listen" and read downloaded ebooks and audio on their interest level. They will be assigned additional responsibilities including story vocabulary and story elements to discuss within their centers/groups.

With your help, my students will learn how exciting "routine/daily tasks" and literary centers can be when they are using technology.

By allowing them to use a netbook, you are allowing "techno-kiddos" to learn in "their" style. This will bring added excitement into my classroom!
