Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine the daunting task of being ready to attend college? There are many obstacles that our students face: Can they afford to attend college, how do they procure scholarships, how do they ensure that they are academically ready for the challenge?

My students are curious, intelligent, creative, and dynamic.

They attend a Title 1, low income school that services a diverse population. Many of our students will be the first to attend college. My students deserve the world! My students came up with the idea for this club and are working to spread the sentiment that all students are capable of attending college!

My Project

By obtaining these resources of college bound texts, our students will be motivated to do outside reading, and will be better prepared for college. Team College Bound is a student run club that is meant to encourage students to focus on academics, and fulfill the dream of attending college.

These donations will encourage my students that they can make a difference and that they CAN attend college.

It will help them realize that they are not defined by their socioeconomic backgrounds, but instead by their drive and motivation. It will help many of them begin the path to reaching their college bound dream. Thanks for making an impact!
