My students need 3 magiscopes to analyze living and non-living things in the world around them.

My Students

Do you remember what it was like being able to discover the outdoors as a child?

My students are from a rural area.

We are only allowed one field trip a year, therefore we need the ability to explore all the elements around us. Magiscopes would enable my students to conduct investigations in the classroom. They would be able to identify characteristics of living and non-living components surrounding them.

My Project

My students would love to be able to explore in groups and participate in hands on activities right inside the class. This would allow them the opportunity to determine what makes an object "dead" or "alive". They could gather objects outside and bring them in to view them under the magiscope. What components make up a "living" object?

Donations to my class would allow my students a wide range of opportunities to use with the magiscope.

They would be able to build on prior knowledge, and correlate it to many other areas in science. When in doubt they could always use the magiscope for more observations and information.
