My Students

Do you remember learning your multiplication facts? Competing against technology with students is impossible! Why use the old-fashioned paper flashcards when you can use technology? My students would Love to practice their multiplication facts using an Application on the IPod!

My students are from a rural, socioeconomically challenged area.

A vast majority of my students receive free or reduced lunches and have limited access to technology. Many of my students have no access to computers or the Internet once they leave school.

My Project

Forget the paper flashcards! My students will love practicing their multiplication facts with an IPod. Multiplication facts are hard for fourth graders to master. Mastery must occur in order for students to understand and master long division. My students who struggle to learn math facts will master their facts when they practice them using fun game-style applications on our classroom IPod.

Multiplication facts can be fun.

Students will enjoy practicing their multiplication facts with our classroom IPod Touch. We would appreciate any help funding our project. Just think about how much fun multiplication can be!
