My Students

Multimedia is the here and now, and our students need to be equipped with the tools necessary to live and work in a digital and interactive world!

My students are public high school students of all grade levels in a low wealth area in North Carolina.

They are great, hard-working students who need to be fully engaged and challenged in their work! These students love activities that provide audio/visual stimulation, while cultivating technological skills that they use everyday.

My Project

This year, my multimedia and web development students will be creating and designing the yearbook as an ongoing activity to supplement the objectives they will be learning throughout the year, while offering the development of additional business skills such as Desktop Publishing, Marketing and Finance. These camcorders will allow the students to create high definition videos that will be part of a digital yearbook,a video journal chronicling the yearbook development process. Using this equipment can open doors to creativity and lead to innovation that can also be used to create movies that will assist in the delivery of classroom content and be entertaining at the same time.

Students live in a multimedia world.

Students gather information in a variety of interactive ways. Why not used this proclivity toward interactivity to enhance the curriculum. Making this donation would show the students that people care about their success and understand the importance of having the necessary tools for learning. We would be grateful!
