Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember that childhood game of BINGO? I remember playing it at birthday parties and with my family when I was a kid. I also remember how exciting it was to yell "BINGO!" Kids today have so much technology in their lives that they haven't experienced some of the simpler games of our youth.

Many of my students come from broken homes or parents that do not value education.

As a result, traditional teaching does not work for many of them. I try to find ways to make learning fun and I believe that these BINGO games will provide both education and entertainment. They will also provide a concrete way to both review and master some necessary 4th grade skills.

My Project

Each Bingo game highlights a different skill such as synonyms, antonyms and homonyms as well as plant life, weather, matter and energy. I also requested games such as fact & opinion, main idea, verb tenses and parts of speech among others. The complete library contains enough materials for 36 players per game so that the entire class will be able to enjoy these games together while learning at the same time.

Please give my students the opportunity to enjoy these fun-filled games and develop essential 4th grade skills as they play.

Each of these games is level appropriate and can be used over and over for many years. If you choose to fund my project, hundreds of children will have the opportunity to both play and enjoy them. Thank you!
