My Students

Help us gain real world business experience! Help support our coffee shop as well as support DECA. These products will give us the tools to support our student body's want for a coffee.

These students have big dreams in working in the business world.

Several students want to work for a corporation, some want to own their own business, and some just want to gain more leadership skills. We have about 43% of our students are economically disadvantaged. For some of these students this is an experience they can add to their resumes. My students have such as hard and strong work ethic, and made me proud to be an educator where I am.

My Project

As we researched the costs of the coffee shop, we know that in these hard economic times, we will not be able to open a coffee shop without the support from you. The equipment we are asking for is the meat of our shop. Without the coffee maker and coffee grinder we will not have a successful coffee shop and the students will not get the real world business experience. This coffee shop gives students the confidence to go out into the business world.

This coffee shop is important to our kids because it came from the kids.

My DECA students came to me asking to open a coffee shop. They want to run it, manage it and save the money for DECA competitions. They have already proven their devotion by surveying the student population then tallying those results into a usable chart. This coffee shop will show the students that a little hard work and patience will pay off. This also gives them hope to never give up and to keep striving for excellence
