My Students

Often I find that boys love reading but have a difficult time finding the books that appeal to them.

Our school is located in Colorado.

We constantly strive for excellence but are struggling with budget cuts and increased classroom size. The kids at our school are great citizens. We've been known to give to our community. It's time that they receive updated materials and a gift from supporters!

My Project

Boys are readers too! They need books that quickly engage them and inspire them to read more. These books are all part of series. Once hooked on the first one I often see my boys reaching for the next one. Help us inspire our boys. Boys matter too!

Often the materials are geared to girls.

Literacy groups can be a drag for boys if adventure books are not available. Plus boys need to hear the voice of other boys in literature. There is nothing like a good book to inspire learning. The more you dive in and explore books the more you learn about yourself and increase your wealth of knowledge. Our world is advancing in technology, but we can't forget about the power of an old fashion book. What did you read last?
