Micro-viewers the Way to View the Tiny Things

My students need the microviewers and bacteria in order to have a successful experience looking at microorganisms.

My Students

Do you remember trying to focus a microscope and then the organisms moved out of view? The microviewers will allow my students to be able to spend their lab time doing science instead of trying to focus the microscope, which is very frustrating to 7th graders!

Our public middle school is in the beautiful rural part of a large county wide school district.

Most of my students live in neighborhoods or in apartment complexes nearby. My students do not have many opportunities for learning outside of school and the small public library.

My Project

The micro-slide viewers and slides will allow my students to have a the personal experience to view bacteria, viruses, and cells at any time without any preparation time. I think this will be more interesting to them than see a picture on the projection screen.

At a former school, my students enjoyed learning about microorganisms and cells using the micro-slide viewer system.

I would like my students this year to have this opportunity too.
