My Students

My students need access to as much technology as possible because, "There can be infinite uses of the computer and of new age technology, but if the teachers themselves are not able to bring it into the classroom and make it work, then it fails." Nancy Kassebaum, U.S. Senator

My students devour information and love to work with technology.

They attend a school where all members of the community strive for success and constant improvement in all areas of academics. without access to tools like the Elmo, students are not keeping up with the technological demands and expectations that today's world requires them to have.

My Project

Students will be able to more readily share their work and projects with their peers all at one time. They will be able to use the Elmo to show group and individual projects by using the projector they already have in conjunction with the ELMO to give presentations, and share ideas for learning and growth. Not only will this give my students practice and familiarity with technology, it will provide another way to help the students practice in public speaking and presenting.

By providing students with technological opportunities in the classroom, such as through the use and availability of the Elmo, my students will be more ready to meet the demands of a world filled with technology.
