My students need 20 dry erase boards and markers in order to visualize the problems they are solving.

My Students

Open up the mind of our youth. These materials will assist my students in visualizing, thus opening an understanding of geometry.

My school is an alternative transfer school for students who have dropped out of school but wish to complete their schooling.

They are provided with the opportunity for a second chance at graduating, and for many of them who are aging out it is their last chance. Many of my students have children of their own and cannot afford school supplies.

My Project

These dry erase grid boards will serve as hands-on Math materials in order to visualize the Math problems they are solving. Graphing will finally become fun and playing, and in turn they will understand the concept of graphing in a "cool" way. Doing Math away from paper is a change that my students will enjoy.

Alternative high schools provide students with the opportunity for a second chance at graduating, and for many of them who are aging out it is their last chance.

Children deserve a second chance to correct the mistakes they made as adolescents. Many of my students have children of their own and cannot afford school supplies. These materials will make learning fun for them.
