My Students

I love being the teacher who changes music for all students.

My students are live in a high poverty area where the arts are not always a priority in their lives.

Lack of parental support makes me an important part of their education. Each day I try my best to impact my students in their musical pursuits while supporting their basic educational needs.

My Project

I am requesting a lesson book which focuses on integrating music and reading in everyday music lessons. This would help me to meet my goals to assist each student with their musical goals as well as their reading goals. I am also requesting piano books that will help my students on all levels to progress at their own pace

My project is extremely important to our school and students because it will help our students to become well rounded students.

As teachers we need all the assistance that we can get in order to help our students in becoming well educated individuals.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
