My Students

Have you ever been on a trip without ever leaving your home? My students would like this opportunity too. They would like to tour our Nation.

My students come from a high poverty community.

In addition to the poverty they experience my students are also at a high risk of being high school drop outs. My class is designed to support these students, but we do not have the funds to support their academic needs.

My Project

These resources will help my students travel back in time and across our nation. These books will give the students experiences they may not have the opportunity to experience because of the poverty they live in. My students will be able to see how continuing with their education despite the obstacles they may face can help them to change the world and see the world around them.

This project is very important for me to help my students become successful.

My students often miss opportunities because their parents can not afford to support their education. Through these books I will be able to open our nation to my students in a new way.
