Math Journal Needed to Create Financial Literacy

My Students

I am a fourth grade Title I math teacher. I would love to help the students in my class make the connection between math and financial literacy.

To aid in this, I have seen some wonderful test prep journals.

It is my wish to enhance math skills using this journal, while at the same time building an understanding of financial literacy. My school currently is a part of the Stock market Game. This game teaches children how to use the stock market as an investment tool.

My Project

The test prep journals we be a resource to help the students who would love to participate in the stock market game, but need to reinforce their math skills. Imagine a fifth grade student who is able to explain a good stock investment? I would consider that amazing!!

Our students and our country need to become financially smart.

Please help my students become penny and dollar wise. This could possibly create a generation that will be financially independent.
