My Students: Have you ever been in a crowded and cramped up space? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have lived in Harry Potter's closet? My students have and we are in a need of change!

My students are 3rd graders. A lot of them are going through growth spurts from the time they are in 2nd and 3rd grade. Currently, they are in a small classroom with very big furniture. There is little room for movement and transition time. Creating functional learning centers and organization is impossible right now.

My Project: We need paper trays, a store and roll organizer, a mobile filing cart and chair sox in their classroom that will maximize instructional teaching space. By getting space saving classroom furniture, my students will be able to access the classroom more freely. After all, a classroom should be a child's second home. They spend more than half of their day in a classroom. I truly believe in having a positive, safe and caring learning environment. This is not doable unless we have the furniture and the space they need.

Please help us maximize our classroom teaching and learning space by donating space saving furniture. This will allow students to have an opportunity for transition and movement that is currently not seen in the classroom. Students should feel comfortable and not cramped up in a place they spend half of their day in. hide»
