My Students

Open students eyes to reading. The bookshelf display will allow my early readers to be captivated by the cover pictures and be excited to open and start their reading adventure.

My students attend a urban, charter school.

Their parents and guardians have chosen to make arrangements for their child to attend our school and became the best scholars possible. Despite their difficulties outside of school, my students work hard and learn amazing things throughout their Kindergarten year.

My Project

My students love to read. They would rather be reading than watching a special video or sometimes even doing an art project. They are motivated to finish their work early to be able to choose books from our classroom library. I want to give them an inviting and engaging way to select books of their interest. The bookshelf display can do this by allowing me to utilize the various compartments and categorize books according to their genre or skill we are currently working on in the classroom. It will allow students to find books of their interest and make reading a more personalized and enjoyable experience for each student in my classroom.

Charter schools, like the one my students attend depend on people like you to be generous and help support educational causes.

I know that my students will benefit from your donations and this project will continue to support their love of reading.
