My Students

Paragraphing made easy! The four-color click pens are the best way to highlight paragraphing and essay organization with struggling readers and writers.

While many of my students are struggling readers and writers, they certainly are brilliant young minds once it "clicks" in their brains.

The four-color click pens, while expensive and oftentimes annoying to the teacher due to excessive noise-making, are by far the best way to teach writing and revision in the high school classroom. Color-coding what the students need to do is the easiest way for them to see that the topic sentence (in blue) and the evidence and examples (in red) and the analysis (in green) is the easiest recipe for paragraph organization.

My Project

My students are amazing young people that get joy out of the little things in life. These pens are a prime example of that joy. As a potential donor, you would be amazed at how much learning can be accomplished with something so simple. I hope you see the benefit of these pens in my instruction as well!
