My Students: Have you ever experienced building with blocks? My kindergarten students love to work in our Construction Zone, also known as the block corner. Their cities have begun to increase in complexity but unfortunately they don't have any other materials that will add details to their creations.

My students are an enthusiastic and hardworking group of typical, English Language Learners and Special Education students in a school with limited resources that serves a high-poverty and transient population of families. Many students in my classroom are of families who do not have the means or resources at home to provide practice for the educational skills learned in the classroom.

My Project: I will like to provide my students with high-interest materials like community vehicles and community garages for their cities and develop oral language as they will take the roll of police officers and firefighters following the traffic signs like stopping at a stop sign.
