My students need 28 multicultural books to aid in our studies of the countries Australia and Spain.

My Students

To many children, the world stops in their backyard. My desire is to expand their views of the world around them. I want to focus these studies on the countries of Australia and Spain.

The children who will be affected by this donation are from a very low socio-economic area.

The majority of them receive free lunch. Our school is trying to help these students by becoming a school that focuses on multicultural studies. The grade I teach will be focusing on two countries.

My Project

I would like to start my own mini-library of multicultural books for my students. By having these books at their fingertips, my students will realize that the world is a much bigger place than they realize. I want them to see life outside of this small town.

By helping fund this project, you will enable my students this year, and in many years to come, to expand their views of the world.

By learning about other countries, they will learn about themselves, and the type of lives they would like to lead.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
