My Students

Our student organization does a lot of activities throughout the year from community service, animal projects, and citizenship. The students would like to create a yearly scrapbook to log the memories of their activities as well as create a slideshow to share at our annual banquet.

Our school is located in a very rural community in Arkansas.

The students don't get to travel much but through our student organization they get to get out and see the world. The school is made up of approximately 225 students PreK-12. These are very hardworking students that are never afraid to get their hands dirty. Whether they are working with animals, in our school garden or helping clean up yards in the community, they always give their best. They are rewarded for this hard work by getting to attend conventions, leadership camps, and show livestock. They also compete in many events. Our school is basically a pair of old chicken houses converted into classrooms and new and exciting things are something they really look forward to.

My Project

If these students get a camera they can take pictures to put into their scrapbook and for their slideshow to show other students all the opportunities there are if they get involved. This is also a way to show the community the hard work our students do. The students will learn how to arrange a scrapbook, create a PowerPoint slide show, and how to upload photos to the school webpage.

This project will give many students a chance to be involved in an organization and be recognized for all their hard work and dedication.

They work very hard and participate in many activities that sometimes go overlooked. The camera will give them a chance to show everyone what they have done.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
