My students need 4 hands on math centers, puzzles, 2 counting boxes, stamps, and games.

My Students

My students are amazing and deserve materials that will help them understand each concept taught. Math is not about worksheets, especially for a five year old. Math is about hands on learning, an understanding of numbers, quantity, etc.

I teach in a high poverty school where children come to learn and grow.

With math, telling a child that this is "four" is one thing, but providing them something to place in their hand will turn on the light bulb and plant a seed of knowledge. This can only increase through more opportunities for them. These materials will help create Math Centers that will teach or supplement lessons in counting, money, graphing, measurement, patterning, etc. These centers, puzzles, and stamps will be used year round by every member of our classroom. That is exciting!

My Project

They will not only help my students this year but my students for many years to come. You will have the opportunity to directly affect the lives of many students and help to plant seeds of knowledge that will hopefully grow into a great future generation.
