Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand"......Confucius. I completely believe in this quote, students get a life long learning experience when they are able to do hands on projects that give them a new way of learning and motivation.

My students are inner city kids ,they go through many challenges in their everyday life outside school,as gangs and drugs are major issues in their neighborhood.

Though they are academically gifted ,most of them have minimal access to tools and technologies that can help them succeed and fulfill their desire of learning new ways to develop new things and bring their dreams to reality.

My Project

Building Solar race car project will provide hands on experience with solar panels and constructing a model race car that is environment friendly. This project will also go hand in hand with technology, science and gifted standards. It will enhance their learning by motivating students to learn more about renewable energy ,which is one of the best career in today's world.

I want my students to believe in their dreams and to experience how wonderful it is when you create something that works on sunlight ,one of the precious resources that mother nature is giving us every single day.

Students can come up with their own ideas and designs once they experience this project, it's like giving them wings to fly with their imaginations.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
