My Students

My students love to explore different concepts. We have been gathering resources, but do not have one location to organize them. Many of my students feel lost and don't know where to being.

I teach a multiage classroom of 8 to 10 year olds.

Their abilities and interests are wide spread. Many wrestle with organizational issues. Our inquiry projects change every six weeks which adds to our need for a common place to gather and organize resources.

My Project

A mobile storage unit would provide the flexibility and organization we need to inquire. It will help to create a consistent center in the room where student know they can go to find information on the current topic. The mobility of the station will make is accessible to all areas of the room.

Organizing the resources we have will inspire my student to continue to explore.

It will help them to make the most of our limited supply. My most reluctant won't have to dig through piles to find answers.
