My Students

Have you ever tried learning to play an instrument without having music to learn? It's not easy! My students, however, have been doing a pretty good job with the music I have found around the classroom. It is old. It is dusty. But it is music.

My band students are fabulous!

They are so dedicated to a band that is small and growing! Many of them come in whenever they have some free time just to practice. They are committed to improving the quality of the program. And for some of them, band is all they really have!

My Project

The new music I am asking for will help the students modernize their literature. They will be able to learn tunes they know, which is sometimes more beneficial. It will help to broaden our audience when performing as well. Whether the music is played as pep tunes at football games, or at concerts throughout the coming year, my students will put their hearts and souls into creating this music!

The music I am asking for will allow my students the opportunity to read more common music that they know.

It will also let them feel as though people really support the arts and that it is incredibly important to continue with their music education!
