My Students: Due to our low budgets in education and lack of funding in the state of Colorado, we are in need of updated technology in the classroom. This projector will allow my students to have the latest technology needed in order to compete with other students as they enter into college or the workforce.

These students are highly driven and have a true desire for staying updated with the newest technology available to them. I teach a non-traditional curriculum in business and college prep at a rural school in a high need community starting with 7th grade. I believe students are very much technologically driven in our society and any chance they can learn with the use of such items enhances creativity and learning.

My Project: My students are members of a co-curricular organization - FBLA. They develop a true understanding of competing with their peers. They develop the skills and confidence needed to speak in front of others while showing their presentation skills and their ability to work with various types of software. Presentations are our future. This projector will give my students several opportunities to display their projects to our community members as well as members of our Jr./Sr. High School.

With a new projector readily available to my students and myself, I would be able to reach new levels of instruction. Computers have changed the way we teach and the opportunities available to teachers using new technology. Students should be able to be a part of this new technology through varied forms of instruction/presentations. hide»

My students need a LCD projector to become college and career ready after leaving my classroom. details»
