My students attend a Title I urban school where many of the students have disabilities. Due to space constraints, I have had to teach students on an art cart in their regular classrooms. Many of these rooms have carpet in them which makes it difficult to paint with our regular messy paints. My Project: By donating dry tempera cakes students will be able to paint in their regular classrooms without having to worry about making a mess. The dry tempera cakes provide concentrated brilliant color in a convenient package - no spills, no waste and no overload of color. The students can moisten the tempera cakes with a brush. With the tempera palette rack and well trays the paint will be easily stored. Your donation will make a significant difference in the kindergarten and first grade students' lives. For the past couple years I have not been able to paint with my youngest students and they are missing out on an important part of the art curriculum. By donating these painting materials, students will again learn the joy of painting. hide» My students need 108 tempera cakes - a less messy way to paint. details»
