My Students

My students dream big and want to accomplish wonderful things, but often their families are struggling to provide basic needs for my students, and so school supply money just isn't there. That is where you come in!

We are an inner-city lower income school.

Our school is a very small and tight community. Sometime this presents problems, like when students cannot afford school materials. The school is small enough that their classmates know and the student feels embarrassed.

My Project

My students need school supplies such as pencils, binders, colored pencils, notebooks, pens, markers, and a pouch to keep everything in. Students are asked and expected to bring school supplies for them to use in class and at home. However, I have to have resources to help those students who just can't do it. The first day of school is an exciting day for most, but I need to be able to help those that are dreading it because they have no materials or clean clothes to wear.

Your generosity will help me to put materials into my students hands so they have the tools for success.

Most of all they'll take pride in knowing that someone they don't know and will probably never even meet cared enough about them to give them those tools!
