Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Faced with looming budget cuts, my students may see classes such as music, physical education and technology eliminated. These classes teach children various life skills and without them my student's educational experience will be short changed.

My students deserve a comprehensive educational experience.

They are creative, intelligent children, who, if given hands-on educational resources, will become successful life-long learners. My students need the appropriate curriculum materials that will provide them with skills to build a strong educational foundation.

My Project

By providing my students with hands-on resources, they will obtain an interactive educational experience. A PlayStation 3 will allow my students to access its on-line feature. Using the keyboard, my students will search the web to conduct research for various projects. A PlayStation 3 will also allow my students to use the Blu-Ray feature. My students will be able to view educational videos, such as the Magic School Bus science series. Also, my students will use the Big Brain Academy game to assess their knowledge of numerous subjects. Students will be asked questions on a variety of topics. Questions will increase in difficulty as they answer them correctly.

My students deserve a well rounded education and budget cuts should not determine the quality of education they receive.
