My Students

Fortunately, my students received boxes of much needed leveled readers. Unfortunately, the books are currently stored in boxes that make them very difficult to access. Our books need a home so that my students can read, read, read!

All K-5 students are eligible to receive help in our intervention center.

We call our center the ALFA Center. It stands for Accelerated Learning For ALL. We are a Title I school, which means that a high percentage of our students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. We love to read!

My Project

My students need instant access to as many books as possible. They need to make free choices of appropriate levels so that they maximize the limited time they spend in the ALFA Center. Two bookshelves would allow us to organize the boxes of books to allow them that access. We want to spend our time reading, not digging through boxes!

Better readers make better mathematicians, better scientists, better leaders, and better thinkers.

We need your help to help us have those opportunities. Getting organized, getting out of boxes, and getting our hands on books! Please help us make that possible.
