My Students

Let's do an Experiment! Nothing gets my students more excited during science than those words. Help me put those words into actions.

My class is a group of fabulous 5th graders who love to experiment with the world around them and are always asking questions.

Most of my students are low-income and have had very little exposure to science and experiments, our school can provide some materials, but I am requesting additional science resources and science related books.

My Project

The materials in this project will allow my students to do many things. First, they will enhance their understanding of the world around them through hands-on science experiments. The project materials will allow them to perform multiple experiments and allow them to attain higher thinking skills. Then, they will go further by reading about the world around them in the books requested. These materials will instill a love of science in my students for years to come.

This project is so important because we are far behind the rest of the world in science.

We need to foster a love of science in our students and help that love grow. Our future depends on having people who love to figure our why things are the way they are and how to make our world a better place. With your help, we can do just that.
