My students need 4 K'Nex kits to actually demonstrate Newton's laws of motion and apply their learning to real world situations.

My Students

We need a way to apply our knowledge of Newton's Laws into real world settings, and this would be the perfect way to do just that!

I teach in a public middle school setting, and many of my requisitions are cut yearly because of budget cuts.

This is one of the many things that I need that would make learning come alive for my current students and those students who come into my classroom.

My Project

I want to do a roller coaster culminating event at the end of my Newton's Laws unit that I teach every year. Last year we made roller coasters out of index cards as an ending event, but as you can imagine, they weren't as effective as this K'Nex set would be. I also have students that have used these in the past and brag about how easy they are to use.

Honestly this would be a great project for my students to show off what they are learning out of a book.......and what a better way to make this common theory come alive for them.
