My students need a laminator, film cartridge, and drawing paper.

My Students

Many of my students use visuals throughout their day. Having to wait for the laminator, means that the students will have to put their learning on hold.

My students have moderate to severe disabilities in 9th through 12th grade.

Moderate/Severe disabilities challenge both the teacher and the student in their learning process. A few of my students use picture exchange to communicate and others simply learn best with visuals.

My Project

Having the laminator with film available means my students will not have to wait for the materials to be done and then returned to me. This means that learning will be continuous without delay. When the students are delayed, then learning can not occur.

Learning with visuals is so important for students with moderate to severe disabilities.

They need to have the visuals accessible as opportunities present themself. Learning can not be put on hold because I have to wait on materials.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
