My Students

Although we have a multimedia projector in the computer lab, it is quite old and nearly impossible to see the projection unless the room is entirely dark. This is problematic as they often need to use their books and/or take notes while they are viewing the projection on the screen.

Our students are wonderful.

They work extremely hard and are, in general, very pleasant to be around! We are a small, public school located in the middle of cornfields. We have a great staff. Parent involvement is always very high, and our students are very motivated. We could not ask for a better learning environment.

My Project

With the constant changes and upgrades to technology, it is very important that our computer teachers are able to show the students how to perform the necessary tasks. Without a functioning multimedia projector, it is difficult for our students to understand without seeing. One of our greatest challenges at the moment is the crossover from the old Microsoft Office to Office 2007. It is so different from the one that the students are used to operating, and we are having a difficult time showing them how to use the new programs.

This project is important because we feel that our students deserve the best.

We are a small school located in a small community. Our students should not feel as though they are receiving a small education. We strive to bring them the best and most up-to-date education that we possible can.
