My students need a Math Fact Practice Center, 10 Hot Dots Power Pens, and Hot Dots Math Fact Quiz Cards to help them learn their math facts in a fun and exciting way.

My Students

How many times did you dread the words, "Let's practice your flashcards!" My second grade students are learning an awful lot these days and the mundane routine of practicing their math facts with flashcards in not getting those facts to stick!

I am a second grade teacher at an amazing school.

The parents are very supportive of their child's learning but when it comes to these math facts, the flashcards we run off for the families each year get tossed aside. Students are not motivated to flash their facts each day. Parents and teachers are always looking for new and exciting ways to get those math facts to become something fun for the kids to learn!

My Project

I have found Hot Dots Math Quiz Cards that are interactive! They can be used in the classroom as well as at home. They will be used in a center during math or when the students have free time in class. For those students who are having more difficulties remembering their math facts, the Hot Dots come is a portable pack that can be easily sent home. School-To-Home tools help parents a great deal.

With both the Hot Dots and Math Fact Practice Center, my students will be able to have a fun, interactive alternative that will get them excited about learning their math facts!

I will be able to use these tools every school year. I will also be able to offer these alternative tools to parents who need extra help at home.
