My Students

My little ones are eager to learn. Being located in a high poverty neighborhood I know I have to provide my students with a wonderful school experience so that they can grow to become life long learners.

Many of my students are unaware of the real reason they are in school.

They arrive at school excited to see their friends and eager to please, but often withdraw from structured learning. I hope that by providing structure, discipline and love to my students they will begin to make the association with school as a safe place where learning is possible.

My Project

My students need hands on learning activities and supplies that will assist them in the daily tasks of instruction. Chair pocket organizers will provide a specific place for supplies to be kept, which will allow students to feel confident about where to keep their belongings. Assessment partitions will provide a distraction free environment for students who struggle to stay on task. The remainder of the supplies requested are 5 fun interactive math activities that will engage students during math centers and reinforce the math concepts that all Kindergrtners should have upon entering 1st grade.

I am hopeful that this project will come to life.

Kindergarten is the foundation for all students, please help fund our project to give our students the opportunity to advance into 1st grade with the skills they need to succeed.
