My Students

In kindergarten we read, read, read, and read more! Reading is one of the most important things that I teach my kindergarten children each year! New and interesting books are important for my classroom because they teach children to love reading!

My students follow Florida's curriculum and have to be good readers by the end of the year.

This can be a great challenge when children come in with no knowledge of letters or interest in reading. I also have children that come from homes that don't speak English.

My Project

I picked out 17 new wonderful books that my children will love, such as Moo, Baa, La La La! and Too Purpley! They are new releases and have colorful pictures and great authors. I know my children will love these books! Shared reading everyday is very important, and these books are sure to keep my children focused and excited!
