My Students

Help us help Children's Hospital! The 3rd graders would like to donate a handmade mosaic table to the Children's Hospital. Each student will have a part in creating the table, so they all will feel like they contributed to the children in the hospital.

The students in our school come from lower income families.

It is important for them to understand the idea of community and helping others. This art project is a great way to teach empathy and helping others. The 3rd graders are wonderful 8 and 9 year olds who have big hearts and want to help.

My Project

The resources we are requesting for this project will all be directly used to create the mosaic table. The table is the base for the project. The rest of the tools and supplies will be used by the students to create the mosaic design on the top of the table. The grout sealer will be put on last so the table can be used both inside and outside.

This project is two fold.

Not only does this project directly affect the students in our school. It also affects the kids that are in the children's hospital. Our hope is that is table can be auctioned off for a nice amount of money and help the children who send their days in the hospital instead of in a classroom, where we are sure they would rather be.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
