Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We co-teach in a 4th grade general ed/special ed inclusion environment in an urban environment. Since we do not have advanced technology due to budget restraints, we rely on our antiquated desk-top pc and wall-mounted flat screen monitor. It would be great to have a portable notebook.

Our students are ambitious learners!

They thrive on new and interactive learning projects. Living in an urban area, many of the members of our class have not had the opportunity to use different technology. Our learners are always looking for new ways to explore.

My Project

A notebook computer would allow our students to explore many new topics, while giving them the opportunity to use different media. In our self-contained classroom, we explore many cross-curricular topics. With a laptop more students would be able to create media projects in different content areas.

With a notebook computer our students can work on a media project together, or complete a research task in a center.

A notebook computer would greatly enhance my students learning experience.
