My Students

My kindergarten students are very interested in animals, which ties into our year long science curriculum. To enhance this exploration of animals we need a computer monitor. We have the computer, but not a monitor. The monitor will be used to observe animals at sites like the San Diego Zoo.

My students are an amazing group of young learners.

This group is very interested in science and especially animals. Using this excitement to encourage students to develop other skills as they observe, would be powerful for this group of learners. We have a window bird feeder and this group has been recording the visiting birds. They are so interested in birds and other animals.

My Project

They have a great interest in animals. We have been observing birds this year with our window bird feeders. The students are very excited about this project. We will be using the flip video to record the bird visitors that come to our feeders. We will be hatching chick eggs in April. I can't even imagine the excitement that watching the video of our chicks hatching would offer. My students have been taking a lot about fish. We are starting our fish observation unit. They will spend even more time observing GloFish. What an exciting way to promote the development of science skills. When we get our computer monitor we will hook it up to our hard drive. The kindergarten students will visit such sites as The San Diego Zoo.

My students would benefit so much from your wonderful donation.

Their science knowledge would be greatly enhanced. Opportunities to observe, record, and understand science concepts would be greatly aided by this project. What a difference you will make in the lives of young learners.
