My Students

Can you imagine trying to understand the fluctuations of the stock market using primitive tools such as newspapers and old business magazine articles? To best realize how our stock market and investors react to real time news my students must be on the forefront of technology.

The students of my classes are graduating seniors who are ready to explore all the world has to offer.

Most students are planning to attend city universities and will utilize financial aid to do so. Some of the major goals the economic course they are completing in their senior year is to introduce them into the stock market as well as personal finance and the getting them ready to face life's major personal economic challenges they will encounter.

My Project

Being interactive with real time stock market fluctuations, various investment vehicles, career opportunities, personal money and banking management can help my students no only be successful but also help them avoid major pitfalls many Americans fall into with over borrowing and poor money strategies. I plan on using the LCD projector to make my lessons come to life with "real" information that my students need to be successful in an ever challenging world.

One of the biggest challenges people face today is with their personal finances.

My economic course attempt to help students be successful with their own personal finances. It is wonderful preparing these students for the many challenges they will face in the future but being able to utilize technology and showing students how their many choices will affect their economic bottom line will be a major improvement.
