This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our math stars have created their math videos and PowerPoints. However, they lack the means to burn it to a CD so they can share it with others and their proud family.

Our students our from the inner city.

Over 90% get free lunches. We are a TITLE 1 school. Yet these students have overcome most obstacles to become math champions. These students are incredible but they lack the resources students of their age simply take for granted.

My Project

My students have created short films about math in the real world and math tutorials. They are very proud of them. They want to share these videos with other students who need help and their proud family members. I have bought blank Cd's for them. However, we lack a DVD BURNER to burn the CD so they can share the CD's with whom they want.

Every student loves to see themselves in a movie. Imagine their excitement if they have a CD to share. When they look back and have this gem to share later in life, it would be incredible.
