My students need a Sub-Contrabass Chime bar with mallets in order to play bass parts with our musical creations.

My Students

"Big Daddy needs some help!" Our current contrabass bars are falling apart. They shake and rattle. We have been improvising by wrapping toilet paper and facial tissue under the bars to keep them from rattling. The students would love to play their instruments without worrying if they will break!

Our students have their challenges both in and out of school.

Music is a place where they can come and be creative. The instrumental pieces that we play allow students at all levels to be successful. I think that is what I love BEST about being a music teacher. There is something for everyone at every level.

My Project

This new bar and mallets will allow our students to actually play the bass parts. Right now, I usually play them because the instruments are falling apart. We have been wrapping tissue paper and Kleenex under the bars to keep them from rattling. I would love for the students to play the bass parts with ease!

My students will be so excited to play the new "Big Daddy Bass Bars." I can already see their smiles and hands when I ask for a volunteer!

These new materials will not only allow them to play the bass part, but it will also allow the students to play independently. They will be able to do it without me!
