A Table That's Just Right!

My students need 6 new tables to replace the worn out ones in my classroom.

My Students

Our tables are so old that I worry about splinters getting into my students' little fingers. I want new desk to replace the ones that I have. It is not in our school budget to get new desk so we are asking for your help.

I teach kindergarten in an urban school that serves a neighborhood community.

I have the brightest faces to greet me each morning. Our school receives funds from the Title 1 and Free Lunch programs. My boys and girls are special to me and I would like to give them something nice like new desk. Having new desk will change the way my classroom looks and change is good. The new desk will add something fresh to our class and it will give the students something new to call their own.

My Project

The new desk will allow my students to sit in small groups. I will be able to spend more time with my students. My students will like having the desk because they will be a pretty color and not brown wood. The new desks will reshape my classroom and open up the room. The movement and flow of the classroom will change with the smaller desk.

If you donate to this project, you will be providing my students with new desks, but you will also show them that their community supports them and their educational needs.

Little minds need a solid foundation to build on and a good desk to work at.
