Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need to hear a variety of books read to them. They need to increase their fluency levels in order to enhance their comprehension skills. Although, my students reading skills are improving, They still need tools to continue on the path of becoming well rounded fluent successful readers.

My students are a group of ethnically diverse fourth graders.

Since a reading corner has been created with comfortable furniture, the students are more inclined to sit in the corner and read. This helps improve comprehension, but they still need to become more fluent readers.

My Project

I need a Califone Wireless CD player. This tool will help my struggling readers follow along during reading time and during independent reading. After listening to a variety of reading Cd's, my students will become adapt at reading at the proper pace. They will be able to read books at their individual reading level and above with the assistance of the Cd's.

This project is extremely important to help my students become fluent readers.

Your assistance will allow my students to increase and enhance their fluency skills. In turn they will comprehend text at a much higher level. Please consider funding this much needed project.
