Baseball Gloves for a New Baseball Team!

My students need baseball gloves for the baseball team.

My Students

I am a high school English teacher, but also the baseball coach. My kids had a successful first season for never having played before.

We had equipment lent to us last year.

This year, we have to find our own equipment and have no funding. My students cannot afford gloves of their own. We want as many people to be able to play, but it makes practicing difficult when players must sit on the sidelines.

My Project

I am asking for four baseball gloves, and will continue to ask for more. This will allow more students to try out and be on the team. By adding just even four gloves, four more kids will not have to take turns, but have their very own glove. It is quite empowering for students to have something that they can call their own!

With your help, kids will be able to play a new sport and build confidence.

As a coach, I have seen kids flourish on the field and therefore impact their performance in the classroom through raised confidence.
