Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in a high poverty area, and most of them cannot even purchase materials needed for school. The materials requested will help make them interested in learning.

Although my students live in an economically disadvantaged area, I am able to tell that they are motivated each and every day to learn something new.

We are unable to walk to the public library because of the crime in the area. Everything requested is something that would be fun, yet improve their basic literacy and math skills.

My Project

With the resources requested, my students will be able to improve their literacy and math skills. It will allow them to excel and reach their top potential in whatever path they choose in life. These resources will show my students that learning can be fun.

The students within my classroom are driven to learn, and with the minimal resources we were given, it makes it hard to do different activities throughout the year.

These materials will make it easier to change projects throughout the year and differentiate for different levels.
