This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My English language learners love to hear the rhymes of Dr. Seuss.

My students are working hard to learn the English language.

They love to hear the the Dr. Seuss stories and repeat the rhymes. The patterns in the stories help them with their phonics skills. They have made such great improvements this year and they are eager to continue.

My Project

A Dr. Seuss collection would be a wonderful addition to the classroom library that we have. The students love to find a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a good book. Dr. Seuss books will entertain them while allowing them to practice their rhyming and phonics skills.

Please help these language learners succeed while having fun with the zany writing of Dr. Seuss.
